This Cookie Policy explains how A³ and its sub-processors use cookies and similar technologies (collectively, "cookies") on app.triplea.studio (our marketing and dashboard site) and on Merchant storefronts where the A³ widget is embedded.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small piece of data stored on your device by your browser. Cookies allow websites to recognize your device on return visits, remember preferences, and (in some cases) track activity across sessions.

|---|---|---|---|

Cookies on Merchant storefronts (where the widget runs)
When the A³ widget runs on a Merchant's Shopify storefront, the cookies described above are set by A³ on behalf of the Merchant for purposes of running the conversational service. The Merchant's own Shopify storefront cookies (cart, theme, analytics) are governed by the Merchant's own privacy and cookie policies.
EU / EEA — opt-in for non-essential cookies (ePrivacy Directive)
Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC, as amended), as transposed in EU/EEA Member State law, we require prior, informed, freely given, specific, and unambiguous opt-in consent before setting any non-strictly-necessary cookie on a device located in the EU/EEA.
- Default: for visitors detected as being in the EU/EEA, all non-essential cookies (preferences, analytics, marketing) are off by default until you actively opt in via the consent banner. The banner offers per-category granularity (no "accept all" dark pattern) and a clearly visible "Reject all" option of equal prominence.
- Withdrawal: you may withdraw consent at any time via Your Privacy Choices with the same ease as you gave it. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- Refusal-tolerant: refusing non-essential cookies does not affect access to the main service.
United Kingdom — PECR opt-in
For UK visitors, we comply with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) as amended and Information Commissioner's Office guidance. The same opt-in flow described above applies.
Quebec residents — granular opt-in (Law 25)
Quebec residents are presented with the same granular cookie banner that requires category-by-category opt-in for non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.
California & other US state residents — Global Privacy Control
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals on our marketing site and Merchant storefronts where A³ runs. Setting GPC on your browser is treated as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information and as a request to disable non-essential cookies. We do not currently sell or share personal information; the signal is recorded as a privacy preference and propagated to sub-processors that recognise it.
We also honor browser Sec-GPC: 1 and legacy Do Not Track (DNT) headers as functionally equivalent expressions of opt-out preference.
Managing cookies
You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers also allow you to block third-party cookies. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the dashboard from functioning correctly.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated 30 days in advance via the dashboard.
